This was a sunset shot I took on the first night of the cruise. It was just dark enough to see the moon.

One evening, while doing some after theater laps around the promenade deck, I saw the crescent moon with an obvious planet so visible to the left of it. When I returned to my cabin, I Goggled and found out it was Jupiter.

One day (this only happened once) just beyond getting the cold washcloth, they had a welcome line with a blue carpet and crew members lined up on both sides dancing to tunes playing over the loud speakers and welcoming each one of us as we walked the blue carpet up to the gangway. YMCA was the song playing when I snapped the photo below.

It's unusual to see another cruise ship except near ports, so I thought this was interesting to see three other cruise ships way out at sea.
